Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 13, 2026
Dispute Ledger (“we,” “us”) helps you find negative items on your credit reports, draft dispute letters, and track every round of the dispute process. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can control or delete it.
What we collect
- Your account email address and authentication details.
- Sender profile information you provide, including your name and mailing address.
- Credit reports you upload, and the negative accounts and other data our AI extracts from them.
- Supporting identity documents you choose to store, such as a government ID or proof of address.
- Dispute letters you generate, along with their status, mailing dates, and tracking numbers.
- Payment records associated with your subscription and any certified mailings, handled by Stripe.
How we use it
We use your information solely to operate Dispute Ledger for you: analyzing your credit reports, generating dispute letters on your behalf for your review, tracking dispute rounds and response windows, sending the reminders and digests you request, and processing payments you authorize. We do not use your data to train models, and we do not use it for advertising.
Storage and security
Data is stored in Supabase, in private, per-account storage buckets and database tables protected by row-level security so that only your authenticated account can read your data. Access to identity documents and credit reports is limited to what the application needs to render your workspace and build your letters.
Third-party processors
We share data with a small number of processors, only as needed to perform the function you requested:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- OpenAI — analyzing uploaded credit reports to identify negative accounts.
- Stripe — processing subscription and certified-mailing payments.
- Lob — printing and mailing dispute letters you explicitly choose to send by certified mail.
- Resend — delivering account notifications and follow-up reminder emails.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, for any purpose.
Retention and deletion
You can delete individual credit reports, supporting documents, and dispute letters at any time from within the app; deleting a report also removes its extracted data and stored file. If you would like your entire account deleted, contact us at info@disputeledger.com and we will remove your account, documents, and records. (A self-service account deletion option is planned; until it ships, email is the fastest way to have your account removed.)
